According to the requirements of high-level applied universitywith distinctive characteristics, in order to further strengthen international exchange and cooperation and expand the international influence of the university, the new English name and its basic combination have been adopted by the university. The relevant matters are hereby notified as follows:

1.The English name ofourUniversity has been changed from "Liaoning Shihua University" to "Liaoning Petrochemical University". The new English name is more in line with the actual naming of Chinese universities, more in line with the English translation habits, more conducive to foreign exchanges, and also better reflects the characteristics of the university's petrochemical education.

2. The English abbreviation of the school has been changed from "LSHU" to "LNPU".

3. The new English school name will be officially launched on February 8, 2021, and the original English school name will be abolished at the same time.

4. So far, overseas remittancestill uses the original school name(Liaoning Shihua University)and the original account name. We will inform you in time after the replacement.
