Assessment for each course may constitute of multiple components, for example, multiple choice questions, short answer questions, essays, assignment, oral presentations, or any combination of these. Currently, we have the following structure for the assessment:

Type of assessment for the course that has a final examination:

▪ Mid Term Examination:20%

▪ Attendance:30%

Type of assessment for the course that has no final written examination:

▪Final Report or Project: 50%

▪Attendance: 30%

At the beginning of each semester, we will check the total credits of every student. If a student gets less than half the credits of the total for two continuous semesters(except he can pass half of examinations) or for an aggregate of 3 semesters, he is not eligible to study in the university. For all semesters, the student’s GPA needs to be above 3, otherwise, upon graduation, he can not get the degree.

Besides, the students who are failed in final examination (A test) will have only one chance for participating in make-up examination (B test) and if fail again, the students must restudy the course. The procedures for course restudy: 1) apply course restudy, 2) pay restudy fee, 3) take the restudy course, 4)join the examination, 5) pass the examination and get the credits, otherwise restudy the failed course again. The regulations about restudy is only available to the courses which are hold from the 1st semester to the 5th semester, and the students who fail the B test for the 6th semester and 7th semester courses, could only join the C test which is organized at the 8th semester.
